I was at the sold-out Sunday 10/25/81 Orlando show. Tangerine Bowl was packed! It was a very hot October day. Mick kept spraying water from hoses on each end of stage into the front crowd, where I was. Van Halen was on fire for their hour+, (should’ve been more!). Stones opened w/ “Under my Thumb” and later the crowd sang happy b-day to Bill Wyman (40th) w/Mick. Still have some pics and my ticket stub! Memories!

I went both days had tickets for day 1 and they were scalping tickets for day 2 crazy cheap, so what the hell,Van Halen twice, nothing wrong with that!

I WAS THERE!!!
I seen Van Halen play on Saturday when they opened for The Rolling Stones at Tangerine Bowl in Orlando, Fl in 1981. That was a BAD ASS SHOW!!! Then seen them again at Lakeland Civic Center in 1984!!!

I was their in 1981.i was 15 yrs old.my brother and his friend ,mark, took me to the show.saturday or sunday.i dont remember.i still wonder how the henry paul band got this opening spot!
